Went to Bear King for dinner early on a Friday night. Got there a few minutes before five. There were several tables already eating and drinking, but not overly busy. We were seated quickly. The server recommended a beer for my dad who couldn't decide and even brought out a sample. We went with the fajitas for dinner and everybody agreed theirs were great. One person got the fried avocado. I got the chicken fajitas and the other person got the birrera tacos. Each came with two very stuffed tacos, but no sides. The prices were very reasonable, and the food came out quickly and fresh. I would definitely recommend. They had a nice outdoor area but as cool as it was this time of year, we opted to sit indoors. Looking forward to spring or summer and will definitely check out the patio, which is dog friendly.

Diner at Bear King. Busy but seated right away. Daughter had a burger and fries. Wife had beef stroganoff and I had the pot pie. All very good. I think the winner is the beef stroganoff. Good service (Rachel is excellent)- good food it's a 5/5.

After making the 50-ish-mile trek from Austin to the Marble Falls DMV, I emerged victorious with a freshly renewed driver's license. I even joked about bringing my seeing-eye dog to celebrate passing the vision test! They were not amused. After my ordeal, and out of hunger, I made a beeline to Bear King Brewery to toast my freedom. Bear King sits in the heart of Marble Falls, a town that reminds you of simpler, unhurried Texas. With easy, free parking and a welcoming vibe (unlike Austin), Bear King is like the friendliest spot at the crossroads of Texas charm and rustic comfort. Inside, wood beams, iron touches, and big windows create a space that practically insists you relax. Well, I reckon it was a quiet day when I came in, so that was an added plus in my opinion. I ordered the Burger Royale with extra jalapeños and their famous buffalo sauce for that Texas kick and paired it with an Amber that went down smooth as a Hill Country sunset. Then, I tried a sample new brew that tasted of vanilla and white chocolate - a sweet surprise I can't quite name but won't soon forget. Their whiskey beer made me think of pairing it with a steak and a cigar by the water. But the real MVP was my server Suzie, my trusty guide through Bear King's craft brew lineup. She took one look at me - post-DMV daze and all - and picked out just the right drinks to help me recover. Her recommendations were spot on, like a craft beer sage with a sixth sense for what a weary traveler needs. Marble Falls is a charmer, with art galleries, quirky shops, and a scenic riverside that beckons you to slow down. It's a town untouched by the rush of the city, and Bear King Brewery captures that spirit perfectly, bringing locals, travelers, and a few well-behaved pups together under one roof. I didn't sit on the large outdoor patio because, well, I live in Texas, and November is still hot, damn it. Bear King isn't just a brewery; it's a place to kick back and raise a glass to life's little victories - like surviving the DMV with your sanity (mostly) intact. If you're in Marble Falls, Bear King Brewery is worth every mile. I am sad that I forgot the seeing-eye dog at home.

It's been over a year since we've been here and the menu has changed and the prices have gone up. The place still has a great chill vibe and lots of great quality beers to choose from. This time around, we started off with the onion rings, which could easily feed four. When you get the burger, you'll have the doctor it up with the mustard and mayo sitting on the table. The fries are OK, but you get tired of them pretty quickly (we just ate half of them). The fish and chips was decent, although the fish was a little bit greasy, much like the onion rings. When it's time to settle up, they still have that handheld device with the predetermined tips starting at 20% when you run your card. Food 31/2*, service 4*, overall 4*.

Stopped at Bear King Brewing Co. on our way back to Austin after a thunderstorm ended our hiking day at Inks Lake State Park. It was packed, so we waited about 45 minutes for a table, but we were able to order drinks at the bar during our wait. We were seated inside and ordered cheese curds for an appetizer, the French dip, and the beef stroganoff, which felt like a gamble because it seemed like everyone around us was eating sandwiches. Our gamble paid off because Bear King's beef stroganoff was amazing -- maybe tied with my mother's for best stroganoff of all time (don't tell her please). The cheese curds had a just right-amount of cheese pull and the French dip was also tasty. However, their beer and the beef stroganoff will be what I look forward to the next time we return. We liked their wide selection of different beers, and I even loved the Milky Way chocolate milk stout. My friend really liked their Empty Promise raspberry ale. The employees were friendly and definitely helped us with the tough task of picking what to drink. Overall, a solid spot in Marble Falls.

Popular place in a prime location. You may have to wait to get a seat but it isn't too bad. Got the September monthly specials and they were quite tasty. Have a good little selection of food and they are all big portions. Good local beer selection. Something for everyone. If you don't want beer then they have wine and some signature frozen drinks always mixing.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from the lake. The brewery is big and a great aesthetic. They have a big parking lot. The patio is covered and a big area so all your friends and family will have space. The staff was very nice and attentive. We didn't try their beers, but they looked interesting and I've heard good things. We split the Farmer's Cut burger. I am a sucker for mushrooms, bacon, and truffle aoli. Since I'm one of those weird people, I appreciate the veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, onions) automatically coming on the side. The burger was cooked to perfection and it was a great flavor combo. The fries were crisp and had just the right amount of seasoning that I didn't even need to use ketchup. We will definitely be back next time we come to the lake!
